Jesus revolution
This is a great movie.
first of all, because it’s a true story, or at least a depiction of true events and I was unaware of that, but also because it really makes you stop to consider who we are when we claim to be Children of Faith. Our Religious Beliefs, rather we are Christians, Buddhist, Nondenominational etc., should reflect a spirit that is accepting and loving of all people and we really want people in the church. But sometimes in doing what we think is right we make wrong choices and we exclude people , and we get big egos as if we can determine who is worthy of entering the kingdom of God. that topic is heavy but the movie was light, it was fun, not only did it make you think, but it made you smile and laugh. Kelsey Grammer did an incredible job as the pastor. We absolutely loved how honest the movie was.

Jesus Revolution Five Stars
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
In the interest of not giving any of the movie away (we can all imagine with title Jesus revolution, what the movie is about) But I’m curious as to how we can have all of these young people on fire for God and then when I look around today, we don’t see that happening, we don’t see people talking about God on the news unless it’s something bad. I don’t see reports of Kids, college kids or younger kids or anybody really having sit ins and creating their own churches and sharing the gospel for any and everyone who wants to attend. It has to be happening, but why don’t we hear about it? How did we lose the fire? Or did we just bury it deep beneath the things that create ‘ratings’?
On a lighter note, I loved the clothes, cars and decor in this movie. It was so true to that era. We think they did an amazing job of making you feel like you were living in the 60’s and 70’s. The language, the conversations, the hair styles, clothing, etc were all on point.
